Our History
Since 1956, Hawthorne Cat has provided a variety of industry leading product lines to meet the needs of a growing community. Responding and adapting to customers’ needs has been an integral part of serving customers in the Power generation and construction markets. Today Hawthorne Cat continues to serve an array of construction related industries including heavy construction, general building construction, earthmoving, excavation, quarry and aggregate, landscaping, marine, paving, waste management, engine power, power generation and grounds maintenance.
Crestchic Loadbanks selected Hawthorne CAT to be their sole distributor in North America in 2001. Since then, Hawthorne has grown the loadbank business into a national distribution channel servicing hundreds of loadbanks to industries ranging from data centers to manufacturers. In fact, for the past decade, we have sold more Crestchic loadbanks than any other distributor in the world.
In 2011, Crestchic USA transformed itself and is now known as HPS Loadbanks . HPS Loadbanks has grown into a full service sales, rental, training and service company. And HPS Loadbanks remains the leading Crestchic distributor in North America.
